Blood sucking ahdb

His buisness, his choice, I certainly wouldn’t respond to such a request.
Spud has revealed quite a bit about his buisness over the years on this forum, if you were more involved in the forum as a whole you might know more
Don’t worry tarw Coch by the 12 th of feb you won’t have to put up with my comments any more.

So what's been the purpose of your joining here and posting then? It can't be to encourage others to vote with you, because your posting style has generally had a negative effect on others, it seems from the responses you've had on here. It's certainly not to get advice as you've been quite vociferous in rejecting any and all that has been given to you.

Can I suggest that when this is all over (or sooner) you venture beyond the AHDB section a bit more, post in the wider board and see if you can learn from others, or perhaps share your experiences ? If we all share, we are all stronger as a result.

Tone down your abrasiveness, stop insulting and accusing your fellow members, and I'm sure you will find the forum both welcoming and beneficial.

Less than 1k then.
I have no idea why you seem to think I farm some kind of window box farm. Indeed, I'm not at your scale, but since you told us you make only 1% profit, having received my latest set of accounts, I can comfortably confirm that I am significantly better at my job than you claim to be at yours.

Big isn't always beautiful.

It is quite apparent that this forum is mainly farmers and has such is not for growers ,there is only a handful that understand horticulture , Simon W and 132 and a few others so I have decided to call it a day, maybe when all the bps stops you will feel like we do and not be so keen to waste hard earned money. So I wish you a merry Christmas and goodbye.

That's a loss, but I'm not surprised you've struggled to fit in, given the starting posts you made.

Merry Christmas, and hopefully you'll get some rest and a chance to review.

If you mean me I don’t understand horticulture but I do feel very strongly that we have an overbloated industry with too many snouts in the trough that don’t add value. It’s all about holding everyone (including ourselves) to account and having a lean, mean and thriving industry. That is why i support you.

Unfortunately he is.........or if he’s left, was a rather argumentative poster.
Considering he wanted growers to vote against the ahdb in a referendum you’d have thought he’d have tried a more persuasive discussion rather than attacking anyone who disagreed with him.
I’m not unsympathetic to what he’s trying to do but I felt he lost the argument on just about every occasion.

Always difficult to read a closed book.

Happy Christmas sir, hopefully you won't be spending all day being some kind of grumpy martyr, picking sprouts or whatever.

I'll be in touch next time I'm in your area post covid, and you can give me that tour, it'd be good to learn more about your operation.

Our new strategy

We will hold a session about our proposals under our new strategy on 7 January at 6.30.pm. This will include a discussion about a new fairer way to collect the levy, as we first discussed with you at our open board meeting in July

How does the levy benefit my sector?

In February we will run a series of open meetings regarding our work relevant to different parts of the potato industry. Each session is open to all levy payers, but will focus on the elements of our work that benefits that particular part of the sector.

If you would like to discuss the format of these meetings, please contact your local Knowledge Exchange Manager via our 'meet the team' page.

Just dropped in to see how well my money is being used ,nice poster on here ,webinars, thick glossy magazines, town hall meetings, the kitchen sink, you name it they have thrown it. What I find hard to swallow is that we have been told for 12 years that the ahdb train was travelling north when after talking to the new driver we were in fact travelling south fast, mind you he said when he finds a bend in the track we will go north again and there is light at the end of the tunnel if he knew where the tunnel was that is, some of us paid several hundreds of thousands to go on this journey to be told by nic sapphire that the levy system is wrong and needs changing what are they having a laugh because I fail to get the joke. We have been told that all this propaganda has cost upwards of 2 million , pity we couldn’t have access to some of this after all it was our money in the first place.
