Its very good news that the potato sector will have a go at triggering a ballot. I am shore there will be plenty of support our money was never intended to be used for AHDB propaganda adverts telling us they are changing their ways. They will have something else to think about while they are sat at home twiddling their fingers ,the potato sector will be voicing their concerns after next week.
Good article bio-waste spreader ,never thought I would get in private eye they will be wanting me to go on have I got news for you soon.
That quote is not quite correct teslacoils ,it’s worse than that ,£27 million in salaries out of £68 million it more like 40%.Yes, just read this. 1/3 of levy in salaries. What a disgrace.

Obviously there must be a lot growers who disagree or we would not be getting so many disgruntled comments coming in, there is only a few growers doing large scale veg now so if you are not on top of your game you are soon out of business, these people would go into meltdown if they ran their own business, could you imagine like this morning when I walked into the farmyard and 120 workers want their orders what somebody from ahdb would do.The struggle we have had while they have been sat at home I don’t know how we have managed.Teaching grandma to suck eggs comes to mind.Given that AHDB supplies intellectual property to its customers/ levy payers, what else would you think they spent the levy on? Some on physical tests and trials, yes, and some on physical equipment and office space, but most is surely going on employing the brains that generate that information. Now, some may feel that they already know everything there is to know about growing vegetable, but...

This is one of the main problem they give away intellectual property to all including foreign competitors which we have paid for not that its much use to them. Surely any research work done by the AHBD should be the levy payers property.Given that AHDB supplies ellintectual property to its customers/ levy payers, what else would you think they spent the levy on? It must be easy to give away something when you haven't had to pay for it and someone else has been forced to pay the levyThis is one of the main problem they give away intellectual property to all including foreign competitors which we have paid for not that its much use to them. Surely any research work done by the AHBD should be the levy payers property.

I don't know is that all they doHow would emergency use applications assist growers in other countries? Are they applied internationally?
I don't know is that all they do
If thats what you want its up to you there are not many research organisation that give away information free. No, it's not all they do, but it is a significant part of the remit according to others upstream in this thread. Personally, I see no issue with foreign farmers having access to our market price reports, fluke and worm forecasts, etc. - other things that they do which don't really have any value outside of the levy payers.
