Bobcat T3571 Telehandler

Hi there

Does anyone have experience with a Bobcat T3571 Telehandler?

One is up for sale near me I can't find much info about them.

Is it good for farm work or more suited for the construction industry, anything I should look out for etc. etc.

Only thing i have heard on the Jungle Drums is the paint does not like staying attached to the metalwork !

I have a bobcat ,far more paint on my 2004 model than on any jcb i have seen, good things ,breakdown like all the rest ,gets full of crap round the prop ,but a good strong thing

They have "Had A Go" over the last 30 yrs but with little success in the UK, - that does not mean the machines are no good, it just means that they sell so few there is "No Established Market" and only sold because they were cheaper at the time by a large amount, but when they sell at a proper price no one wants to buy them - so with so few sales - depreciation is high - and no parts are on the shelf - although stocked in Belgium - they have just launched a New Range but how many times had they done this? it is just rinse and repeat - if its very cheap for year / hours - have a go - but keep it 10-15 yrs when it will be worth very little and anyone will give 5k for it!

Caterpillar is most popular here in U.S. with all the other brands selling a few here and there, JCB service is so far away its scary and they don't hold value like Cat.
Different in UK I guess.

They're not a bad machine.
I think it'll have a Deutz engine which isn't usually any bother, might have a Perkins, another decent engine.

Hydrostatic machine so depends on what you're used to driving.
It's most likely Agri spec, you don't see many construction spec ones.

Any bobcat dealer can supply parts once armed with your serial number.

Where in the country are you?

Fairly popular here in the eastern u s, good machines in my experience, iirc they came from the same factory as massey ferguson telehandlers but that could have changed

A Massey is a rebadged bobcat.
They're usually Perkins powered though.

They're built in the old FDI Sambron factory in France.
They use Spicer axles.

We've an MF 8925, which is a 2556 equivalent. Perkins T3, non common rail. Great machine, love the hydrostatic transmission. Rexroth hydraulics the best you'll use. Couple of pipes replaced, maintain it well, no reason it won't give good service for years.
