Bobcat TL30.60 agri

Has anyone got an experiences with the above model or other modern bobcat tele handlers?

Seems they are now coming with 5 year 5000hr warranty which is quite attractive.

What are they like to operate, any known issues or weaknesses in performance compared to the other common manufacturers.

Any known reliability issues?

We currently have a 32.6 merlo so looking for something similar in terms of performance.

Not interested in other makes for the purpose of this thread

Thanks in advance

Good value for money.

Hydrostatic transmission, so if you're used to a torque converter machine will take you an hour to get used to it.

Suspended cab is quite good, flat belly plate.

Choice of hi cab or lo cab.

40kph but is pretty gutless on the road.

The bigger 38.70 is a flying machine on tarmac, they have a different transmission.

No DPF to block up but they do have Adblue.

Thanks for the summary, hydrostatic is what we are used to with the merlo so no real concerns, doesn't do much road work or towing so again no real issue if it's a little slow on the road.

We are width constrained so the larger machines are not suitable for us unfortunately.

Have you got one?

Yes, same machine.

Built in the old FDI Sambron factory in France.

You can get some stupidly good deals from Massey.
I've seen them sold out at £5k less than dealer cost!
Really, so there also with the best of AGCO's ext warranty which too be fair is poss the best out there.

Bet there no that bad surely ?

I like my Merlo but until they bin that deadmans switch on there Joysticks i wouldnt buy another.

Guess my 15yr old one might be here another 15years it was cheap compared to where there at now

Did you buy the bobcat? I'm looking at one a 2018 model 30.60, however it appears the tipping angle is pretty poor when at height it looks as though the bucket wouldnt empty when loading a wagon? Do you have experience of this?

The range of motion is slightly less than a merlo but as long as you are switched on with the attachment bracket geometry and angle then it shouldn't be a problem. The bucket we have used to crowd such that the leading edge and sides came to a completely horizontal position with the merlo, the bobcat leading edge is about 100mm - 150mm lower than that when the boom is all the way down but can be brought back to horizontal as the boom is lifted maybe about 1m off the ground when the compensator ram comes into action. We have never had an issue with the tip angle.
