Well you could be right although the younger ewes look leaner than the older ones.I bet they don't need to be wormed
FEC???Well you could be right although the younger ewes look leaner than the older ones.
Yeah, some shearlings might not have developed full immunity yetWell you could be right although the younger ewes look leaner than the older ones.
Is it wise to only drench the young ewes?. I haven't done a FEC.Yeah, some shearlings might not have developed full immunity yet
Does that work?Piece of rubber pipe on end of drenching gun put bouls in do both at once
If you do a FEC (one on older and one on younger ewes) then you will know what to doIs it wise to only drench the young ewes?. I haven't done a FEC.
yes if bolus is the right size for pipeDoes that work?
With regards to slowing down wormer resistance just worming the thinner ones would be better than blanket treating them allIf you do a FEC (one on older and one on younger ewes) then you will know what to do
I assume you have done some blood testing or other analysis to determine that you need to supplement with mineral bolus?
Your neighbour and yourself would have similar soils so I'd think if you use the same bolus as he does you'll get similar resultsI don't have a kit to do a FEC so I will have to take some samples to the vet. I have not done any blood tests but my neighbour has and his sheep have responded very well to Boluses.
Going to Bolus my ewes this year with Tracesure with copper was just wondering if its ok to also worm drench the ewes at the same time. Any thoughts?
