2nd the AMC, they leave you alone to just get on with it and can be flexible if needed.
I didn’t hear from AMC at all bar paper statement once a year!! We contacted them when we took a payment holiday but that’s it!!TBF, Barclays are OK from that perspective, I had no contact for 3 years with my "relationship" manager... Perfick!
Don't even get mithered for accounts these days, they can see what is going in and out easily enough.
AMC ok and they do leave you alone once the loan is set up.
However they tend to work on 50% loan to value so you need to offer them more collateral than most banks.
And if you subsequently need to alter anything that affects the deeds, such as a wayleave then they are painfully slow to sort anything out and they charge for it.
I've found the bank to be more flexible. Lloyds i use own AMC anyway
