2nd the AMC, they leave you alone to just get on with it and can be flexible if needed.

TBF, Barclays are OK from that perspective, I had no contact for 3 years with my "relationship" manager... Perfick!

Don't even get mithered for accounts these days, they can see what is going in and out easily enough.

I didn’t hear from AMC at all bar paper statement once a year!! We contacted them when we took a payment holiday but that’s it!!

AMC ok and they do leave you alone once the loan is set up.

However they tend to work on 50% loan to value so you need to offer them more collateral than most banks.

And if you subsequently need to alter anything that affects the deeds, such as a wayleave then they are painfully slow to sort anything out and they charge for it.

I've found the bank to be more flexible. Lloyds i use own AMC anyway

Yes, I have had that issue with them too. PITA a few years back...
