I’ve drilled beans for 7 years with the 4’’ paired grain coulters
I have a set of 2’’ single row for OSR but haven’t used them Beans yet as they look like they’d plug !!

Thank you. Can you get the depth ok with them when drilling direct?

Planting wheat with 4” paired I’m already down to just a red and a blue spacer. I’d probably need to remove both in the hope of getting 3-4” depth with them I would think.

this one @Steevo

Thank you. That's handy to know. I'm impressed they will fit down the seed hole ok.

Bourgault recommended the 4" paired I already have, or the 2" opener only.

Interesting to see what others are using.

Just reviving this old thread to see if there are any more thoughts on 1 inch points. I have put 1 inch Vos points on my old co4 this year. Mainly for drilling beans. However, I wondered if people have used them for 2nd wheat where 1st wheat has been chopped/back up if it's too wet to use a disc drill.

My Avatar is on 25cm rows so the spacing isn't an issue for me.
