Broken foot

Depends what was broken. I presume you got some medical advice. If you have a broken foot not sure your leg should be swollen
Yes, have been wearing a support boot thing this past 3 weeks, was told to.keep it as tight as possible, so guess that's why leg is swelling a bit. Have yo go back in at end of next week so suppose can ask about swelling then. Hoping to be back to normal soon.

Slid/fell off stack of round bales yesterday and caught left foot on edge of one of the pallets we put underneath them and a trip to a&e and I have a broken 5 metatarsal so I am in said boot aswell just about to start lambing so going to be fun! Got insurance which will pay for some help for feeding times I hope!

Is it a boot with a lot of velcro on it, it doesn't work so well when it gets dirty
That’s the badger! I did ask what happens to them at the end and they said chucked which I was glad about, i put a plastic bag on it to go into the house seems a little arse about first but don’t have to keep taking it on and off!

your doing well with that, dad had it wore out on 3 days i think. ended up with glassfibre cast. when they cut it off they found oil etc in it too.lol

keep mobil and you will have less if any phsio to goto

think he ended up with a cut trainer cant rememebr though. it was silage time so if we got the mower to the field he mowed

Dropped a heavy tractor trumpet on the top of my foot years ago. Didn’t get any medical treatment but it was painful and took a long while to come right. As usual with farm work everything seems to trample on it and slows recovery down. Just support go steady and patience lots of it

should have been mobile, he never stopped, even fell and broke a few toes when the crutches slipped. however had full ovement in his foot and ankle when cast removed.

the jf 900 drawbar fell on his foot broke one bone and cracked another or something, a real typical straight forward break as you would know.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
