Looking for one in the 2 _3k bracket , unheard of make, maybe,Strimech have outpriced themselves, they are over 5k now, considering there paint job on my grain bucket is as thin as fag paper. What are we paying for here, steel has come back. Cherry x around 4k still to much imo.

They have their own make brand. Just had a catalogue yesterday* and see there are Proforge, starting at 1500 up to 1900. HD are 30-40% more.... ;)

Joe Bourne in Leek has/had cheapie bucket grabs but appears most reluctant to actually do business the 2 times I have called and asked about one, and forget emailing him!!

*not sure why, as I don't have enough tractor to even pull half of the kit out of the yard, let alone use it!

4 ton lift th, would want to be minimum 7ft 6. mainly cleaning out cattle sheds and using on muck berry, I find the grain bucket to deep and not the best on big piles of muck, used to have a fork but messy.

Looked at the agri linc one, they only do it on Euro bracket, could be altered at buyers expense, looks strong enough but just wanted to buy one with pin and cone brackets. It would need an extra plate welded on to accommodate the pin and cone bracket.

I've had a quicke one which turned up looking quite meatless and weak but never gave any trouble and not a crack on it after 3 years, turned out to be very tough. Then got a strimech that went back to factory after 3 months for a rebuild, it was worn out after 3 years of less work than quicker did and cost me £1800 in rams, on the outside built like an outhouse, but really wasn't good

Needs to be a fair amount of thought and nous going into the design/engineering of such things. It's easy to forget how much force is going where especially on the front of a big handler. Of course grabs are a bit more complicated and allow folk to get more load in than they would in a bucket alone. You can see how things go wrong.

Quite agree, and the quicke was punching, God I gave it abuse, bought it because it was cheap and didn't worry too much how long it lasted, it took everything in its stride and stupidly I sold it with 6150 q76 outfit, should have put manitou brackets on it

I got this in spring 1EA26403-A862-42FB-B261-6840DE2BBCFC.jpegB5FF2C5E-1167-4B90-A4B5-69A26B92A8D6.jpeg
can’t fault it so far, very strong grab, laser cut and welded, rather than the usual bolt on tines.
