Bucket on Telehandler as Dumper.

Probably a stupid question. I'm breaking some rock at the moment and need to move a bit for the track. Normally I would use dumper but I'm wondering would I be able to use a bucket on telehandler for the same job ? I'm on the lookout for a TH for fee other jobs so ot would be handy if I can do both.
Thanks

I have used telehandler for the odd job that a dumper would be ideal for. They make for a pretty poor dumper though.

One issue is that the bucket comes rather small and odd shaped for loading into compared to a dumper, particularly if working side on with a wide digger bucket.

Another issue is that most telehandler buckets are not really made for stone, both for strength and overloading the handler if you fill it full. Only ever part filling the volume of a bucket takes some willpower.

Much more flexible where you can tip it though than a dumper...
