Easy way for them to increase the tax take without actually putting taxes up.

Wouldn't surprise me. We all pay it on almost everything,. Perhaps the plan is to freeze it until all small businesses have to register then abolish the threshold as obsolete.

A sensible government might choose to do that.......but this lot seem to have no common sense at all so I wouldn't be surprised if they just did silly things frilling around the edges. There was talk of changes to vape tax which made me laugh!

Just goes to show that there there's nothing that the money grabbing barstewards won't tax (and vapes are already taxed with 20% VAT). I swear that if the establishment had half a chance they'd force people to surgically implant flow meters and tax them on the air that they breath.
