Buying parts online from Ireland

I've found a part I need on this website https://www.dhfarmmachinery.com/

They ship to the UK, and when you put your VAT number in at the checkout they don't charge Irish VAT on the price.

But will I have to pay UK VAT on arrival? Or any other hidden charges or import duties?

The part in question is vastly cheaper than I can get it for here, hence the questions..

thanks

Why not post a part number of what you want, theres got to be some one this side can supply it, hardly going to be exclusive to ireland? Unless it's a rare old part.

I bought some parts recently from an Irish supplier. You get billed for the UK VAT by the importing carrier - Parcelforce in my case, before they will deliver the goods to you.

Lots of cheap stuff in Ireland, I bought some Granit tines cheaper than any UK agent could quote. Must be that brexit thing I keep hearing about.

You would think so, but I regularly find stuff in Ireland and other places too that I can't look at pricewise in the UK.
I don't know if its crossing the bit of water thats expensive, or brexit or pure out and out greed.
