Bye bye bale trailer

To be fair to the guy it was probably wet and he was loading back first to keep weight off the drawbar and trailer sinking and not being able to pick it up. He should have stopped when drawbar lifted and he put last bale over axle and put bale on front.

To be fair it wasn't just one error of judgement that resulted in the trailer hurtling down the field, there was a whole series of errors there. If this was my equipment/field that operator would be in neither again.

His recovery attempt wasn't the best! :ROFLMAO:

Could have put a bale at back on ground to stop it rolling or put a bale down on front of trailer to tip balance forward.

Nice of the other chap to film it and share it on internet.

Can't just fire someone, you have to give verbal and written warnings. They will say you hadn't given them adequate training in the job they were asked to perform.

Be aware!

I always put the handbrake on when it’s wet slight movement forwards or backwards is normally what sinks the trailer shoe

We've one trailer with a sh!t shoe, it goes over balance and hook ends up in ground if its pushed forward or backwards. Normally last bale! :banghead:

Use handbrake on trailers with air brakes, would be seized on others.
