That’s looks really good! What size are the boards 150 mm and the horizontal runners what thickness are they? We had mentioned half the width of the board as a gap, good to hear they keep the rain out. This is the boarding we put on our calf shed as it's the side which gets the most of the bad weather. Works well no rain gets in but still got good ventilation.

Same as is coming here. What size is the pen? Splitting my stations into two separate pens. Not as many cows as you tho.So yesterday we had the feeders installed. Calves were previously on a wydale 5 tit feeder, have taken to it very quickly.
Still getting to grips with the program side of it but im sure ill get the hang of it.

Could I be cheeky and ask you to measure, gap looks 50mm it’s the runner width between horizontals that’s hard to tell. Had a quick play around after milking a lot more impressed with yours than this.I'm not sure without measuring it. Always think a calf shed is not easy ventilation wise because you need air flow but not to draughty.
Would be better with both boards outside the wall and extra horizontals in between. Stops rain running down inside and soaking into main timbers.Could I be cheeky and ask you to measure, gap looks 50mm it’s the runner width between horizontals that’s hard to tell. I saw some really good ones that were like a cordura bag filled with sand, there was a metal strip on the deck underneath the door for the bags to run on. Sealed it really well!Has anyone any pictures or ideas for draft stoppers on the bottom of doors for calf shed, or do we just put the door low enough and use a gale breaker type thing above the door????
Rubber strip!? Cheap and simple, easy to replaceHas anyone any pictures or ideas for draft stoppers on the bottom of doors for calf shed, or do we just put the door low enough and use a gale breaker type thing above the door????

Heavy enough so it hangs down and the mind doesn’t move it, but not to thick that it doesn’t bend easy to open/close the door. Assuming it’s a hundred door and not a sliding one.Any ideas where from and ideal thickness?
