Calf won't suck!!!!!

Cows milk, it's got a few days to make its mind up. Never had a calf this stupid befor.

As long as it has had colostrum I would give it effydral for a day or so to ensure its fully hydrated, usually makes them want to suck I find

Near starvation whilst keeping it alive
(As long as it's Vitesel'ld and hydrated)

Bet it's a heifer.

Can you get dummy calves, like dummy foals? There is a technique with a rope for dummy foals. Something to do with triggering a hormone response that should bit sometimes doesn't happen when they are born. It's amazing.

I put the non eater in with another leppy calf at feeding time and would go back and forth to each calf with the same bottle and the energy from the aggressive eater really woke up the non eater and it really tried to find the nipple on the other calf but my calf was a hard birth with bulging eyes(maybe water on the brain) and then got pneumonia and has been tubed for 2 weeks it just doesn’t know what to do with its tongue yet.
