Hi was giving front axle refurb on 844xl and noticed a bit of movement in the bearings of these. Got the bearing and gears off but there's stupid clip that doesn't have any means to remove bar breaking all my small screwdrivers. I also saw some pics of replacement roller bearings on these that don't have outer shell when pricing up. Is it supposed to be gear and bearing replaced together. Pic must be of tidier side as one with wear has more grazed and burnt oil look. Thanks.

thanks, it is apl 330 axle and parts are available individually. clips have 90 degree edge with nothing to lever on though which got me wondering.

brazing torch, heat the clip up then bend it in with an oring pick?

Could try a sharp and hard tiny chisel to get a bite into the side of the end of the ring, then pry up enough to get a screwdriver under and a pick behind it. But I think you'll end up using the torch twice at thirds around the ring so it will collapse easier.
