Mostly back together now (pictures to follow), put the fly wheel and new clutch and pressure plate in last night, got it bolted back together all lined up well, jumped in the cab and there’s no resistance on the clutch pedal at all can anybody let me know where I’ve gone wrong? Do new pressure plates come ready to go?

Did you skim the flywheel? If so, did you take the same amount of the face the pressure plate sits on? There is a specific measurement from one to the other.

Yes the fly wheel was skimmed and the face the pressure plate sits on skimmed as well to keep the measurement the same.

When you say no resistance I take it you have adjusted the cables to the correct free play??

I haven’t adjusted anything as yet I’ve just put it back as it came out only with new parts thinking the small amount skimmed off the fly wheel will be more than replaced with the new friction plate and pressure plate. I’ll find out the free play required and make some adjustments hopefully will sort it, thanks

Got chance to get a bit more done at the weekend, mostly back together now other than the bonnet and side panels. Worked a bit of game cover up to check everything over have to find something a bit hard to get her run in.

I’ve got a leak on the spool block to sort out, I’ve got all the seals ready to re-seal it, any tips on re-sealing it or anything to look out for? It should be a simple job although access it’s great, thanks for any advice
