Were having a 120" x 40" which has a 10" scrape passage and a 30" straw bedded area.
just wondering if anyone has got a rough idea how many cattle it could feed. we feed twice a day using a diet feeder.
Also anyone got a rough price for under ground slurry tank as we are thinking of having a slatted area at the end of the scrape passage.

Our cattle shed as a central passage way; whole shed is only 60ft wide so each side is about 22ft wide which I was always led to believe that’s the idea size so all cattle in the pen can feed at once. Shed is 105ft long, holds 45 400 - 600 kg cattle each side.

Feeding with a diet feeder 80 - 90 easily, if you want them all to feed at same time 120ft of barrier and 7 to a barrier of fat cattle is 56 cattle
