Chain going right to left. Which is the correct split pin?

Thanks for the replies.
I will keep an eye on them and let you know. I spotted this morning that both were missing, so its a wonder it was still intact. New chain last year, and I'm sure I would have fitted it with the head of the split pin facing the direction of travel, but them it seems like it will close up the splayed ends.

That is the dilemma.
Perhaps the single pin as folk have suggested is the way forwards with the head facing the direction of travel.

Does Claas (or other brands) sell those solid pins separately?

The solid pins on the feeder housing chains of my Deere broke after splitting the chains a few times fixing bearings. The solid pins aren't list separately so I have use lengths of mma welding rod with the flux removed to replace them.
