Where are we going to go as regards this, with most of EU shut down already, I suspect this may become an issue. Any news from suppliers??

no issue whatsoever

quite a lot gone though the Farm Marketplace office this week and zero supply problems - some even turning up same day ! seems distributors are not busy !

Most spring chemistry will be in the country already. Plenty of autumn herbicides still in stock from last year. IMO it will be later in the year when new deliveries will be limited.
Yes, this is what I am talking about, I guess how long is a piece of string type question

What I'm not sure about is just how much of each can of each product is made in China. Lots of formulation materials made out there even if the cans are mixed up in Europe. I intend to make sure I go into harvest with good stocks of glyphosate and ferric phosphate slug pellets. Autumn herbicides will be ordered in good time too, hoping for good deals on last year's stocks.

most (but not all) actives are made abroad, not just china

quite a lot is formulated in the uk however

i would not worry, loads and loads of uk stock here a while ago

don’t let the trade use this as a sales opportunity !

Suppliers are holding more stocks than normal over here to try and cover this (and Brexit) so most should be ok, but the delivery driver issue could be the more limiting factor in due course.

Barry - Mr Johnson has just announced that key workers will include supermarket delivery drivers. Can distributors and manufacturers lobby MPs to ensure they are aware our industry deliveries are key too. Thanks

If theres no delivery drivers then why not just collect it. I have two distributors within 10 miles and another one under 20 miles away so hopefully one of them will have what I want.
I can just imagine it...
