Hi all, I have a 446 RX Renault Claas and have experienced an issue with the instrument panel , it was working fine but then just whilst moving lost the Tacho, Speedo, PTO speed Hr meter, hand brake buzzer , etc , now I have checked and replaced every fuse I can find, have been through the system took out the panel etc what I have found so far is this.
the machine has an aftermarket temp gauge added as the original for some reason just didnt work , now if I start the tractor it fires up no problem drives perfect pto engages etc , but I found if I turn the ign key back to the start postion as if I'm cranking it then the cluster comes to life, I also notice the aftermarket temp gauge the needle hits the stop full , if I whilst holding the key on and the cluster operating select the PTO the PTO switch shuts the cluster back off .
I have checked all the electrics and so far they seem ok , my thoughts were a possible earth issue so I disconnected and cleaned the earths , no change
I also cannot select the 4wd function and normally when the brake pedal is used the light comes up on the dash to tell you the brakes are on .
I have exhausted my ideas I have checked the wiring etc and it seems correct
If anyone has any ideas Id love to hear them , we are coming into our harvest seasons down under and its a real pain in the rectum , I'm going to give it rectum Ill blow the barsteward to bits
Cheers look forward to any help regards Tommy

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
