Plenty of ways BS can get out of paying any compensation.
Looks as if you don’t plant enough area you won’t receive “full coverage”.

“If requested, provide evidence of the aphicide sprays applied if aphid thresholds reached in accordance with BBRO recommended practice” Sounds to me if you don’t spray it whenever the threshold is met, with whichever insecticides get approval you may not qualify.

What happens if you wish to claim, they then check your records to see that youve sprayed with insecticides but deem your timings to be wrong with local monitor sites. Is this another way out for them????

Also who has to do the counts for when thresholds are exceeded, will they take the farmers own judgement or will they require something written by an agronomist, what if you do your own agronomy???

I'm not going to hold any hope of an insurance pay out if things go to shite like this year, as I said in another thread the virus insurance amounts to 3 parts of fudge all.

There just going to compensate the really big growers who sprayed them 5 or 6 times regardless and will be the only growers left in a few years time
