Got the air auto drafter with 50% grant, had my doubts and thought it was overkill but the thing is brilliant.......have a prattley race system and you can work away yourself and they flow through it really quick.
I use an airline off the tractor air brakes as normally have the tractor there with the float, maybe not the most efficient but for the sake of a couple of clock hours on the tractor its no big issue as the speed you can rattle them through at takes no time at all.....normally needed a few folk before and emotions often run high, the Gallagher box takes a minute to get used to but reads all EID etc, then tells you the average weight of each batch drafted and weight gain etc if you want to go that far.
Think it was £12,500 ish all in but got 50% paid for, dont grudge it now as you dont get much for £6k these days and saves a lot of time
