I remember using harbro lamb pellets ablib on some small tailender and it was very good, not heard any prices for ewe cake myself yet, Davidson, ecv or that company from England.?

Quoted £259 or £269 for fully mineralised lots of ewes getting a mineral bolus so feed company lowering min level . I was also told the price is likely to rise which considering I don’t buy any wasn’t a hard sell , iykwim

Ouch! Quite a bit of haulage on that, I'm guessing. Would it be cheaper in totes, or can you not handle them?

That’s me going to another island to get it, probs be 40 pound more expensive at home. But if we get a few tonne elsewhere it works out cheaper . If I get a pallet space of haulage it will cost me about 80 quid.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
