Continental tyres / punctures

Can anyone tell me why it seems continental tractor tyres seem to puncture.
I've a set on a 100 hp tractor with about 70% tread left on them
Tractor was in shed not used for last two months and went out this morning the front tyre was flat
My tyre guy told me to run them hard about 25 psi all round as if there softer they crack tyre on the inside and nip tubes.
Any advice greatly appreciated

We had a set of tyres some years where we had this issue, cracks on the inside nipping tubes. However manufacturers did admit liability and replaced them. Sorry I cannot remember the maker

We had a set on a JD6630, they were extremely hard wearing but we were forever getting flats from internal splits rubbing on the tubes! Our tyre supplier said they were terrible for internal cracks, useless tubeless.

Both me and my mate have had to replace continental tyres on tractors both cracked from inside I tried tubes but they kept puncturing so bit the bullet and put new on

I used to have issues with punctures and tubes chaffing on good year tyres. Advised to go tubeless and not had a problem since in the last 5-6 years. Tyres now about 10-20% tread.

They have done this for some time, my old 2008 reg JD suffered from this, internal cracks that means they eat tubes. I saw a 2010 New Holland had the same issue the other day. They are cheap carp which is why the appear on virtually everything as standard unless you ask for actual decent tyres.
