Cover crop mix seed rate calculation

planning my own mix for AHL2 as on top of the species to achieve aims i want to add more that will help build my soils

does anyone know of a calculator or spreadsheet that can help design proportions and overall seed rates ?

i think it a spreadsheet could be built to do this if not already available but would be lovely if such a resource already existed ?

I’ve mixed my own cover crop for years and just use an excel spreadsheet

Likewise. You can have it pretty automated if you want by using =COUNT() to count the number of components, so all you have to input is the name, straight rate and per kg cost for each species, and everything else (constituent rate, constituent cost, total rate, total kg required, cost/ha) works itself out.
