Coverage Switch

Has anyone come up with a simple solution to record coverage with a GFX750/NAV900 on a non ISOBUS tractor. Its on a MF7480VT need to utilize Lift arms and also SCVs for different operations.Im sure there was a post a while back about the small circular connector that looks like a diagnostic port that had pins to indicate if arms were up or down. On the spool valves has anyone tried a pressure or proximity switches.
Also how easy would it be to get that info into the GFX750

You would probably have a 7 pin connector at the cabin, pin 5 providing a linear signal representing the rear lift height plus an on/off signal on pin 4 representing the rear lift control switch state (up/down).

Proximity switches are reliable in dirty conditions, I use them on different tools but the idea to use a proximity switch on a spool valve was interesting, depending on the valve design, it should work fine.

I've made an inline pressure switch set up for a spool valve, easy using standard parts, tee with pressure switch and a male and female fitting at either end. Sold it with the guidance set up

I'm not familiar with the current Trimble kit, but on the older kit it just needs a connection between one pin and earth (done through another pin on the same connector) making or breaking to switch coverage one and off.

I have literally just connected a mechanical switch or a magnetic reed switch to these pins on three drills now and it works well without the complication of powered sensors that need to operate a relay on those pins.

Yes, There are options out there. We use either a rocker switch option or the lift switch option with a whisker switch that would turn coverage on and off.

There is also a cable with less accessory ports on it 110545 that i havent confirmed yet but should work fine.

Different systems, but i have used a pressure switch in a hydrulic line, and procimity switches in a couple of installations.
Both work well.
The trick i think is to get the correct switch - ie NC or NO.

i just wired up a cheap pressure switch to a tee with male coupler one side and female coupler the other (just incase the sensor shite its self so its easy to unplug) works perfect on the ktwo

Inline pressure switch works well , use a 3 wire switch and you can swap the wires if you want it to read either pressure on or pressure off
Reed switch mounted to work with the arms is good for the lift

Hello, I have an xcn 1050 and I would like to put the coverage mapper on it.
What I investigated is that a switch is connected to pin 2 and 4, right?
On the other hand, does anyone know how to configure the screen to make it work?

Obtuve el conector para el código b XCN1050 m12 5p Lo conecté a la pantalla en los pines 2 y 4 para probarlo con un interruptor.
Está configurado para cable 114078, radar en P4, registro en P2
¡¡¡No funciona !!!

quindi ora ho un gfx 750 e vorrei collegare un sensore di sollevamento per la copertura automatica, qual è il modo più economico per farlo?
