Covid19 effect on used tractor and machinery prices

Some seriously cheap money to be borrowed about at the moment.

Know of one chap who has swapped his 16 plate tractor in for Brand New 20 plate and is now paying less £/month for the new than he was for the old (same term etc)

Got any actual figures on that as I find it hard to believe. 5 years of price increases since 2016.

The thought of changing any big item at the moment is risky in my mind....prices of produce could do anything.....prices can drop very quickly as seen in lamb and some milk buyers recently

Not a tractor but I ordered a new van 2 weeks ago?‍ been on the cards awhile figuring out what I want.
Supposed to be 8 to 10 weeks delivery but I doubt it as it's not even built yet?‍

It’s very simple , he had a far better trade in this time so had to borrow less , hence lower payments .

Yes but over the same amount of time or probably more which means it’s not cheaper overall even though the monthly’s are less.
