Had my bps claim summary letter and what I thought was bps+Cs is actually only bps! (Cs claim not very big!!)
Online Cs shows on claim validation stage, anyone else still on this stage??
The lack of urgency is ridiculous.3 Different schemes all on claim validation
1 capital works on final checks (claim in in september)!!
The lack of urgency is ridiculous.
Especially if people have done options that required expensive seed plus worksThe lack of urgency is ridiculous.
Yes still on claim validation. So I know nothing!!

Before you enter into the scheme you have to prove that you can afford to do the works anyway. With my fencing agreement I had to get a letter from the accountant saying I could afford it.Ring up and explain that you're thousands of pounds invested into the scheme you've supported and if they don't pay you now you're in financial trouble. Point out that the RPA bankrupting farmers isn't a good look and surely not one of their aims. If you get a decent person, they will help. If they won't. it's shameful.
I think you need a letter if your capital works are over £50KBefore you enter into the scheme you have to prove that you can afford to do the works anyway. With my fencing agreement I had to get a letter from the accountant saying I could afford it.
The problem is at any roadshow, or any event trying to promote stewardship uptake etc, they've been saying payment will be prompt, don't worry, we understand your cashflow needs etc. Nobody can run a business where the payment date is at the discretion of whether some civil servant, probably working from home, can be bothered to actually do what they're meant to!Before you enter into the scheme you have to prove that you can afford to do the works anyway. No one is going to go near this again, at least with the arable crops you can sell for cash flow when you need to.Absolutely hopeless organisation, CSS agreement paid Dec 3 last year.
Paperwork completed and sent in March this year with no changes and all I can get out of them is there is nothing wrong with your paperwork and payment will be with you by June 2024.
I think you may well be right on this, whole thing is appallingly run and no one of any authority is available to talk to.I get the impression, assuming they haven't employed extra staff for the SFI scheme, that they have downed tools on CSS and started to sort the SFI's out instead.
This is the biggest frustration but also one of the main problems with the systemI think you may well be right on this, whole thing is appallingly run and no one of any authority is available to talk to.
