We've got one ain't used it for years,we found mixing it in the sawdust in the bedding machine is better and we've cut the lime down massively over the years u only need a shovel full a day that's all any more it's knackers the teats up etc!

I've had one for 7 years. Its works fine and hasn't been any bother. Use it 7 days a week in the winter and put 1 25kg bag out on 140 cubicals before the sawdust.
It is an extra trip rather than mixing it with the sawdust but you can see every bed has some on it.

how you finding the bobman sl
thats not mine its a customers ,
they are using fresh green sawdust to cut down on dust , that is what i would see as a problem as the finer products which are doing a better job tend to be the dusty ones , when you move from hand bedding to machine you will have a dust problem if your not careful

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
