I did oil them before installing, and it’s now sitting over night. Will that qualify?

It will have to wont it!!! To be honest I’ve yet to come across an oil tight rope seal!!! Out of interest when was the last time you did a conventional clutch? Sure I’ve not done one personally for three years or more in a tractor! Did throw one in the car when the DMF started to complain last year!

March was the last one, can’t honestly remember before that but I usually get one a year. Everything else is wet clutches now with probably averages out at one a month over the year.

Not many pictures today as there wasn’t really a lot left to do.

Pushed the two half’s back together, went pretty easy just had to turn the shafts a little to line up the splines.

New starter as the old one had recently started not wanting to kick in, and a tractor that won’t start is no use to anyone!

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
