Deere AMS experts? Cant add GS3 command center as in another account....

Hi Guys,

A question for anyone who deals with deere AMS / greenstar...

Im wanting to add my GS3 Command Center display on StellaSupport, As think I can transfer an autotrac activation over to my 2630 (which is in my stellasupport successfully) as there both GS3.... Might as well have the activation on the 2630 so I can use it in other machines also, as I always use it in the combine anyway for yield mapping...So makes no odds that the combine no longer has the activation on the command center.

Issue is when entering the serial of the command center, it says its already on the system, imagine on the old owner / dealers account, as its a new machine to me a few years ago....

How can I / whats the best way to go about getting it removed from there account so i can add it to mine?

It's a dealer job. I traded in a combine with a 2600 and the dealer who sold it on rang and asked for my permission to remove it from my account.

Was going to update this,

Ended up speaking to dealer, who was able to move the 2630 into my account successfully, so now have both displays in my account.

However still cant see a transfer option, only a de-activate, which sounds rather risky. So looking like Ill have to waste £50.00 for the dealer to click a couple buttons anyway.

Reminds me why i use AOG and my own steering solution in my tractors!!

Hmm. I've got my dealer to transfer SF activation unlocks between receivers ok. I haven't seen the process first hand to know more about how they do it.

Doing receiver activations yourself on the SS website looks to be fairly easy, but display activations not so sure... There is no transfer button, only "de-activate" which sounds a bit scary!

Ended up paying the 50 and letting dealer do it over the phone with me, all sorted now.

But if anyone has pressed that button them self and found the transfer button would be interesting to know...
