We had 2, the first was a real Friday afternoon product, they even sent someone from the factory to the dealer when it was in - again - to find out why there were so many problems. The dealer did a good deal on a new one, so we tried again but no one really liked it much, although it didn't have the multiple problems of the first and we insisted on a 3 year warranty. As just an occasional driver, I found the controls backwards to all our other tractors.
Main drivers didn't think it was all that good either, so when it was still worth quite a lot it was swapped in for a Valtra which has been pretty good.

Sounds to me if you're suffering from inexperienced dealer fitters who don't really know the quirks of the make yet.
A friend in my area bought a slightly smaller one from an ex John deere who started selling deutz tractors. It was alsorts of bother. In the end they loaded the tractor up in bits on pallets and sent it to Hardwick engineers near Scarborough to sort. They know their stuff and got it sorted. I wouldn't say it's been perfect since but it's a different tractor now its right

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
