BKT every time. What size is the tractor on. My M620 is on 580/70 X 38 back and 480/70 x28 front. Good all round size for every day use.Getting places with my M600, the 4wd solenoid wasn’t working correctly which in turn was effecting other ares of the tractor. What’s everyone’s preference of tyre? We’ve put on kleber to our original agrotron and they’ve done 4K hours and still plenty of tread. (Original trellborgs weren’t great lasted to 3600) our local tyre man is pushing BKT’s? Anyone got any advice.
Did Trelleborg use to be Pirelli?I’ve seen Trelleborgs last over 7500 hrs on a Deutz M620. They’d be my choice.
Trelleborgs definitely best for wear, noise and comfort.I’ve seen Trelleborgs last over 7500 hrs on a Deutz M620. They’d be my choice.
Oh I remember Pirelli’s, wasn’t sure what became of them. They are the worst tyre I have ever come across, came new on my friends M620, they were slicks at 2600 hours, not too mention the numerous sidewall spilts. The Kleber that replaced them have been far better. Even the BKT that were on the 135MK3 were a better tyre. The Pirelli’s are the only tyre I’ve seen wear quicker than a firestone and that’s saying somethingTrelleborgs definitely best for wear, noise and comfort.
Best value for money that give good wear and ride are bkt though.
I've trelleborgs on my 8yo 5000 hour k430 and they're still near 40%. However they are starting to perish with visible cracks now.
Worst brand for comfort are continental/mitas.
Worst for wear are vredestein, though they do grip.
Michelin are tremendous grip, but unless you adjust the pressures for every job, they cost an awful lot in wear.
And if you're too young to remember, yes trelleborg bought pirelli ag tyres.

Duncan, why is it you never like anyone having an experience or opinion that is different from yours? Also, you always have to lower to insult level. Sad that an old man has to try and belittle someone due to being younger. Must be jealous of my youthAh.
Those dwarf opposite tales take some telling at the yarn spinning festival don't they

Took this photo at just under 3 year old and around 2800 hours, the rear tyres arent much betterView attachment 757486
Trelleborgs about 4500 hours last summer.
Guess black really is black, unless you've actually got evidence to the contrary.

Thats had a loader on it ! Whole different ball game regarding tyre wear, especially fronts.Took this photo at just under 3 year old and around 2800 hours, the rear tyres arent much better

So why have his Kleber done the same hours and lasted better? It’s obvious loader work is harder on tyres but what I’m getting at is the Pirelli’s have been outperformed by Kleber, it really is that simpleThats had a loader on it ! Whole different ball game regarding tyre wear, especially fronts.
