Deutz Fahr TTV 430 Problem Help Please

Hello
I Have a Deutz Fahr TTV 430 brought it new 2012 and it done 1900 hours been serviced regularly and it now doesn't like to go forwards up a slope
if I am driving forwards in either High or low range and start to go up or down a hill or slope tractor sort of sounds like clutch is slipping and then lets go completely and will free wheel. Error code T52 come up on Dash
However tractor will go backwards up and down slopes without problems
We have tried both new sensors in where error code T52 refers to with no difference
Tested the hydraulic pressure at the test port for the Imput clutch pressure about 10 or 12bar so about half where it should be we think at 22 Bar
Tested incoming pressure ok at 22 bar
tested transport clutch pressure no reading 0
Field Clutch pressure ok at 22 bar
Reverse Clutch presure ok at 22 bar

So can't understand why tractor drives ok in reverse but not forward when input clutch pressure low .? As all drive goes through imput clutch?
I would not have thought I would have burnt out Input clutch at less than 2000 hours?

So I am wondering if any one else with a Deutz Fahr vario Transmission has had these problems ? And how you fixed it ?
as don't want to rip tractor in Half think clutch burnt out and to find it ok
Is There any other tests we can do ?

Thank you any Help very much appriecated thanks

Service man was one who suggested asking on one of these forums as dealer just want to rip in half but service man and myself unsure that the solution
as may only be a portions solenoid not opening properly
And we think this has bound to of happened to other duetz
So just asking before we take that step

Never had any experience, of the 430 TTV, but just by having a look on google, it appears to be a smaller version, of the 630 ttv/7 series ttv box.
The dealer needs to plug in the SDF, All rounder tester or PC analyzer ,select transmission and see what is actually happening, there is two parts to check, the ,FMGR and the SGR . One is the control/ electrical part and the other is the mechanical part.
Has the mechanic, drained the oil and pulled the suction and pressure filters for the transmission ?
On the larger tractor, filings / debris always build up on the transmission casing lip , behind suction filter.

The transmission assembly is all bolted onto side plate of transmission, and comes out the side. Tractor does not need split. Or cab removed, possibly lifted a little bit.I

The transmission is made by ZF. There will be a plate on side, with type number. Try googling this for known problems.

Where are you located? If you are in Europe, you may Have a ZF service centre, that could have a look ? British dealers were not given the Zf Diagnostic tool, although German dealers were.

We once had a German, Deutz Fahr mechanic, who was on holiday in Scotland, come in for a chat, he had spotted our wourkshop as he was driving past and thought he would like to say hello.

Brilliant
Thank you
I am in New Zealand and just a farmer
Not very many of this model TTV 430 sold in my area only about 2 I know of, I have 1 the other one was a Same version of it . That one got transmission replaced under warranty at about 1500hrs and the mechanic’s weren’t allowed to touch old transmission, it had to be boxed up and sent back to factory, So they never actually found out what went wrong with it. That is my understanding of it.
That dealership is no more.
However the service man has or is trying to speak with that dealership old owners and mechanic etc
The service man did put a diagnostic tool on my tractor and took pictures of different readings and going to ask some other mechanics
Yes draining the transmission old and changing filters was going to be our next step but he didn’t bring new filters as transmission oil was not due at this service.
However we did inspect it and it does seem more blacker/dirty than it should be for the hours it done.
But the service man had to go to other jobs and has come back again yet.
All my google hasn’t come up with very much but now I know what other model similar too I may be able to get a lot more information
Thanks for all your help cheers
I will speak to service man and get the PC plugged in next time he out and get those checked out as that is my feeling what the problem is!!
Cheers thank you

I suggest that you speak with a Power Farming dealership as the parent company are the importers for NZ, Australia and the US

It's the same transmission that Deere use in their smaller "ivt" models, made by zf and called the "eccom" t think

Might be worth speaking to them for advice on the pressure readings?

Is the oil level in the gearbox correct?

I don't know much about that transmission but if it's a hydraulic clutch or has any powershifts or splits then if it's pump suction pipe is losing contact with the oil when heading uphill then that will cause loss of drive.

Or possibly the suction pipe has fallen off or broken

Central Hawkes bay
Place called Takapau
It about half way between Dannevirke and Waipukurau. @ajc606 Where in NZ are you?
Its a ZF Eccom 1.5 transmission....very few units of TTV 430 sold in NZ, because it was just about the same price as the larger 610 TTV which sold in much larger numbers...again I suggest you contact Power Farming Hawkes Bay or Power Farming Manawatu. not really a product for a man in a van to investigate !!!

I recommend you have a quick chat with the Power Farming Morrinsville workshop, they'll likely have a lot more experience with the TTV than your local branch.

They will have very little knowledge of 430 TTV.. very few sold in NZ.as it was too expensive.. you probably mean Power Farming Wholesale who are next door.. However PF Manawatu at Fielding have sold multiple TTV machines, but as I said mainly 610 and 630 machines!

610 TTV is same transmission as 430

630 is big bugger with the Smastic (I think it's called) 'box again from zf

I'm aware that the TTV 430 and the TTV 610 use the same Eccom 1.5 transmission... I was just making the point that there are very few 430's in NZ.... the S-matic was used in the 620 and 630 ( making the 620 very expensive ).. same unit as used in early Case CVX and NH TVT.....the other thing the poster needs to be clear about is what model 430 it is, because there were large numbers of Agrofarm 430 TTV's sold in NZ... which as you will know is a totally different transmission.. made in house by SDF in Italy

An Update

Hello everyone thanks for all your help
I got Power Farming Hb down to look at tractor after two days of looking testing here on farm
I took tractor up to their work shop tractor now with cab off wheels off and in half
The work clutch is totally f**ked all materials gone from plates a plates some plates buckled and a O ring was broken.
They trying to say That I been using the clutch which is totally not the case
I believe that the O ring was ether damaged in assembly or weak and broke letting the oil pressure off the clutch plates resulting in the damage and the tractor running away. Seriously you can’t normally f**k a clutch that much in 1900hrs ?
Result is they wanting $23,000 +GST to get back together

So I hope anyone looking at buying a Deutz should not !!touch a f**kn Deutz even with a barge pole because they green in colour like what is laying in patches in the fields
Cheers to everyone hope you having a great day Allan

What's the clutch for if you can't use it, an ornament?

A man has pleaded guilty at Newtownards Magistrates’ Court to waste offences relating to a bonfire next to the electrical sub-station on the Circular Road in Newtownards, Co. Down.

Gareth Gill (51) of Abbot’s Walk, Newtownards pleaded guilty to two charges under the Waste and Contaminated Land (Northern Ireland) Order 1997, for which he was fined £150 each and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy

On June 25, 2018, PSNI officers went to Gill’s yard, where they found a large amount of waste consisting of scrap wood, pallets, carpet and underlay.

Discussion with Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) officers confirmed the site...
