So you've run it for 10 years and have done 1900 hours?.. had a man in a van look at it and not get to the root of the problem.. then get the authorised dealer to get to the problem.. and got the sh1!s because its a big bill to fix.. they suggest that you've been riding the clutch.. which believe me is a huge problem with semi-power-shift and vario tractors in NZ.. as in reality they are only an inching pedal... you have decided that its a poorly fitted or "weak" o ring?... if you and your man in the van know so much about these transmissions, why didn't you diagnose and fix it yourselves?... your statements will do you no favours and at best are plain silly.......SDF build around 30,000 tractors a year and have done forever...they cant all be Cow sh*t as you suggest? An Update
Hello everyone thanks for all your help
I got Power Farming Hb down to look at tractor after two days of looking testing here on farm
I took tractor up to their work shop tractor now with cab off wheels off and in half
The work clutch is totally f**ked all materials gone from plates a plates some plates buckled and a O ring was broken.
They trying to say That I been using the clutch which is totally not the case
I believe that the O ring was ether damaged in assembly or weak and broke letting the oil pressure off the clutch plates resulting in the damage and the tractor running away. Seriously you can’t normally f**k a clutch that much in 1900hrs ?
Result is they wanting $23,000 +GST to get back together
So I hope anyone looking at buying a Deutz should not !!touch a f**kn Deutz even with a barge pole because they green in colour like what is laying in patches in the fields
Cheers to everyone hope you having a great day Allan
