Poultry red tractor don't check my feed is from assured sources. I have to show that I collect feed tickets but they don't really care what's printed on them.

We don't have passports for chickens leaving the farm, but red tractor number must be written on load tickets
Sugar beet loads don’t currently require passports. I stand to be corrected but originally I think the passport was a means of informing the buyer of any post harvest grain treatments.

Yes as well as a declaration that the lorry was inspected and is fit for use, and what the previous loads were as anything else.
It also serves as a back up to double check the correct variety has been loaded on the wagon. More than a couple of times this season have had the wrong variety loaded and only be noticed by the weighbridge staff cross checking passport vs expected delivery.
one delivery could have been very costly to the farm had it contaminated the silos with soft wheat into a hard wheat job.

There was definitely a version that non-NFU members could fill in.

Looks like NFU Crops Board saw sense, here’s the position statement
👍
Well yes and no. Looks like we will be presented with it again with a few minor tweaks in a year or two.👎

good to see them on the farmers side 👍

however ………. yes there had to be one !

explain this …… in the context of their support for Red Tractor !

The NFU would not be able to support the proposal if there is a chance that some members will not be able to trade their grain. “

I’m sure there are NFU members growing milling wheat and OSR - neither can be traded without Red Tractor membership
