Do you floss your teeth?

I'm always having a bollocking from the dental hygienist for not flossing my teeth daily. I start for a few weeks after visiting her then give up.

Who does this daily? I'm crap at making sure I get between the gums and the tooth and so calculus builds up. The old man is 76 and has never flossed his teeth and still has a decent set. The wife doesn't floss but goes to a different dentist and never seems to be pulled up on it

Yes, but have been worse about it recently. Gums noticeably more swollen and uncomfortable if I don't do it for a week or two. A right faff, but worth it. Usually compromise and do it every other day which is better than not at all.

Far simpler and less messy. Can use the same one for 3 days or so.
Got mine from my dentist but can buy them anywhere.

I try to a couple of times a week. I tend to get a build up of tartar behind my bottom front teeth and flossing helps to control it, along with a swig of mouthwash. If it does start to build up, I chip it off with some tweezers

You will regret that. One day you will have an issue and it will end up very expensive.

No but every time I go I get a bollocking like you from them for not doing it.
Totally unrelated but hadn't been in a few years so thought I best drag myself in to a practice in January for a checkup but had to go private. They said oh you Need 9 fillings quoted near £800 for the lot. Just about gave up the will to live that day.
Managed to get in to another practice on nhs and turned out I only needed 2. Time will tell if they were right and bending me over everyway

I hate toothpaste and tooth floss and mouthwash adverts. How many different types of toothbrush can possibly be made? Remember when we all have to scrub our tongue with the back of the brush?
They are making thousands out of a everyday product and spending it on shite adverts aired 100 times a day

They kept telling me to floss lots and I needed to go in every 6 months. I just stopped going.
I'm still here, age 47, not a filling in my head and I still have one milk tooth!
saved myself a fortune in last ten years!
