Aye that’s what we started with but doing more and more contract tailing for folk. Just wondered if there was an alternative for the Te pari? Have seen a couple others around but not sure if they are home made

I've just spent two with a guy using a highway shearing docking chute, seemed a really good bit of kit

Anyone seen or used the vet marker ? The fly spray function looks handy.

The fly spray is a good addition but you can only use Clik. The others are solvent based and will degrade the rollers.

As far as I’m aware the new person importing Te Pari gear has no stock of chutes currently.
Vetmarker Has the option of a Clik applicator.
You don’t have to hook back legs into leg hooks.
Lambs land on their feet every time.
These chutes are a really solid bit of kit.

Not bad value. Even for a 500 ewe flock will put over 2000 lambs through it in 3 years.

Just be aware that any pour on application to a freshly rung ram lamb will mostly be fly treating the grass it rolls on after

he's just mentioned tailing so far and the po. applicator would be there for use for that , i guess if ringing balls as well you just would'nt use the applicator

would certainly keep the flies off from the get go.

Never had a huge issue with them rolling about and losing the spray. But not sure the spray applicator is for me, given how it sprays the lambs
