Drip irrigation

Is anyone on here using Drip Irrigation for grain maize? I’m looking into this and would appreciate any experiences. Also with regard to fertilising through the system.

A bit more info, I’m evaluating for French grown grain maize, it’s already irrigated and on NVZ, the yields I see quoted for drip maize are considerably higher than we are obtaining now. There are also claims of reduced fertiliser usage due to targeted and timely application through the drip system. There seem to be plenty of farmers doing it around the world.

have you any experience of drip?

Are you losing something in translation? Drip irrigation is common for vegetable crops, or almonds where the crop value is high and so is the water cost. Never heard of drip irrigation for grain maize.
