@Grazer I saw a nice herd of Montbeliardes grazing couple of weekends back on the road back tay the boat. Was that you. Trying to remember. Was it around Newton Stewart?

I was power harrowing in a wee bit of barley this afternoon, and the stoor was fair flyin. It's a rare sight so I was happy!

That's not me. He's got a nice new set up, purpose built from scratch. That goes for the steading and the herd.

I'm not complaining about the weather, it's cracking. Just trying to figure out the best way to work with it.

Very little rain here. My milkers are on a dry land farm - Hertfordshire - and the grass isn't growing. Last night's "rain" barely damped down the dust and the showers forecast for today haven't materialised.

The ten day forecast isn't showing any rain either, until a week on Wednesday (so plenty of time for this to be wrong too!) :(
We are in a very similar position, we've been getting very little rain whether it was coming from the north or south

Beautiful day in Exeter by the canal eating ice cream yesterday, road was wet in Crediton on way home and home it had been overcast with sunny intervals, but no more rain. Hit and miss they call that.

Heavy rain here now and if we get anything like what's forecast in the next few days then I think our mini drought is definitely over for a few weeks.

tis a tad crispy. can't complain about covers at the mo but we are do seem to miss most showers in this district like the ones @Ducati899 has had recently. radar at the mo does not look promising for tonight and it looks like the high pressure over france next week will kill off the rain before it gets to us:cry:.On the plus side cows are milking well and look well for the most part in this dry weather.

Did you get that in the early hours? Driving back from puddletown to the farm this morning the roads would suggest we've had a nice amount
