What a difference a year makes, 12 mnths ago we had bought 100 tonnes of hay, 50 tonnes of Lucerne and been lucky to have an extra 35 acres for maize which was all needed, if things pan out as they seem we shall manage 5 cuts of silage and have some v hefty maize crops. Potential to have enough conserved forage to last till Christmas 2020 by this season's end. Unreal

Yep we have an unreal amount of grass here, nowhere to pit a 2nd cut and currently to wet to bale anything. Its been a really growthy month.

I’m thinking of banging another clamp up we’ve got that much here,I don’t like bales.just to add the pain to @Beef farmer :ROFLMAO:

Your guess is as good as mine,we get offered a price normally over 12months or 24months.this deal jan 2020/dec2020 up to us if we want to do it,can do up to 60% of your milk(can do more but have to ask) or take the market price.hope this explains it
