Easy to use Fert Spinner

Wanting a fert spinner ( second hand ) for grassland farm with small area of arable
something easy to calibrate / set up .
Any recommendations please

The easiest to setup would be a variable rate, weightcell machine with section control working off isosbus on a steering ready tractor. Input the kg/ha needed and go for it!!!! Otherwise any disc spreader is easy to setup, using them accurately and correctly may well be another story!!

Yes, there’s something very simple about my KV geospread, weigh a volume of fertile, put some in the shaker box to determine particle size , input the above into the control box along with the desired spread rate and off to go……………….but it’s rarely that simple , have had several phone calls to the salesman when no fert is coming out despite my best efforts, talking to a mate who has the same spreader and has had the same issues.
Great spreaders when everything is going right, not so good when the operator ain’t quite got the hang of things

I went back to a wagtail a few years back as my spreading area was much reduced with no arable any more (contract farmed). Still have the Amazone twin disc, but it has not moved in 5 years.

Your choice will be area dependent in my view.
