You are not the only one to report this either!!!Yes they will simply just take the ££. I assume that the strike rate for scams must be more than most of us would guess as presumably the scammers are paying for ads. Perhaps where accounts are hacked and borrowed the real account pays?

ebay don't think it necessary to remove this.
From a neighbours experience, unless you have a court order, do not employ private collection firms. All the debtor has to do, if a ccj is not in place, is to claim the amount is disputed. The collection agency can do no more, and you end up paying them.

Looks and feels like a scam to me. It's branded a Case FM750 but described as a Trimble CFX750. The seller has only 1 feedback. I asked to go and see it and had the reply:
