Standing charge was 25p now 35p

Unit rate was 15.9p now 26.91p

Direct debit was £105/month now £173/month

That's a 65% increase. :banghead:
Think Edf advised me to stay on their out of contract rate which was a lot cheaper than their in contract.
Out of contract was agreed in September for 12 months.

That was their easy fix rate - 2 years ago I rang and renegotiated to a lower rate .This time the best unit price is 32p so I've stayed on the easy fix renewal.

Unit Rate: 24.74p / 23.73p
Night Rate: 17.22p / 16.85p

I’m out of contract with SSE and currently on 65p/day standing charge and 27p/kw. Not sure wether to just sit tight or renew contract? Haven’t managed to get any prices yet, sitting on hold for ages makes me nearly as angry as the current prices!
