A diversified Estate, situated in Northwest Norfolk is looking for a dynamic and hands on Estate Manager to assist the owner with continued management and growth of the estate. The candidate will be experienced in land management schemes and software as well as being capable of managing an organic farming system alongside a conventional farm, commercial woodland business, biomass production, tourism, commercial shooting, diversified land uses, building and development projects.

The role would suit someone keen to assist the upkeep and the day to day running of the estate, along with making strategic decisions on the farm and management the estates staff across multiple diversifications with a desire to grow the estates portfolio of businesses alongside the owner.

The next few years will see significant growth in the tourism sector with development of further facilities on the estate and the provision of services to the public. The estate is also diversifying land use with the establishment of new commercial ventures amongst many of the planned upcoming projects.

Working closely with the young owner this role suits someone who is an active doer, picking up and running with the daily management of the estate both in the office and on the ground. Alongside decision making and assistance with the running of the estate the candidate will have the capability to manage budgets, accounting software, Gatekeeper and Pear Mapping software’s as well as being responsible for CSS and BPS applications and the move into the ELMs system and Environmental capital.

This role offers a hugely diverse and exciting opportunity to work across multiple disciplines of estate management. A house is provided on the estate, vehicle, competitive salary.

There is also a vacancy for an estate & tourism administrator. This role would entail responsibility for bookkeeping and accounting software working closely with the estate manager and owner, managing payroll and the business activities of the estate. The role would also encompass management of the holiday lets and tourism activities of the estate, changeover teams, events and estate aesthetics and image. Management of the website, social media and photography would also be key along with brand image growth. Competitive Salary, potential for a house on the estate if right candidate.
