I’m in no rush to replace this war horse that’s for sure. But the ubco needs no fuel, and the Mrs and kids can ride it! But yes damn pricey. I could buy 5 of these!

I keep looking at something like a CRF250 for a farm run about but can’t seem to find anything decent. Did think about a new CRF250L as they are sensible money and could get the vat back on it.

Broken quote (which I can't fix for you any more !!!)
Quiet. Great to approach stock and not get deafened going along country lanes for 25 miles each way

Light. Put it down on it's side when you need to attend stock fast etc . Also if you want to carry it on a trailer / motorcaravan etc etc

Less to go wrong - must be correct compared with oil, injectors etc etc

A belt drive scooter will be much less hassle to maintain compared with a chain that stretches and needs oiling - electric or petrol

They claim 120km which is over double what anyone else is achieving. 50 mile round tris mean I'd soon get towards the 1000 battery charges so it's important !
Won't be far away - I can ask my mate, he's run them for a few years now, they do have 2 each so one is always good-to-go - they use fence-winders quite a bit which uses battery

Hi again, I am sorry we have been quiet, we have been working behind the scenes and machines are now in the UK through our dealers https://www.ubcobikes.com/eu/dealer-locator/ and are fully launching in the UK.

The initial stock took in sold orders, but now we have free stock and demo machines in place at all dealers. So far so good, we shall have a full review in the Farmer Guardian in 19th November edition, we have not had sight of the review but it would appear to have went well.

We have put in the place the strongest warranty we possibly can. Manufacturing defect is covered for 24 months with battery life warranted to maintain 80% over 36 months or 30,000kms.
The argument for EV over electric all depends on your point of view. We certainly feel that alternative fuels are the future, and as previously mentioned although there is maintenance the machines are made to be simple and robust.

If anyone would like to organise a demo, please feel free to contact ourselves directly and we will put you in touch with your local dealer.

Had a shot of 1 yesterday. Goes up to 28 mph. Plenty of poke, and the 2 wheel drive is good in the wet slittery bits. It dies off on the steep stuff, but would still pull me up the steepest bits I’ve got at 9/10 mph.
It is very user friendly, and the front and back racks will hold a sheep tup, or dog easily .
For stock checking I think I’ll will be great. Easier doing gates etc than on my Honda 230, as you don’t have to find neutral, or turn off.
The brakes are good too.
It was the road version with knobbly tyres that I rode, as I think they only have the road versions to sell for now. I’m not sure when (if ) they will have the black farmer version in.
All in , I thought it was great. Price needless to say will dictate if I get one .
But great job to @UBCO UK for bringing one over to the borders for me to have a go !

Thanks, you are very welcome @Bill dog. Derek from ATV shall be in touch.
