Between import duties and being the home market, the NZ price is going to be different. That said we have them here and our warranty is considerably longer.

We obviously have a little more import duties and you guys benefit greatly from being the "home market".

Had a shot of 1 yesterday. Goes up to 28 mph. Plenty of poke, and the 2 wheel drive is good in the wet slittery bits. It dies off on the steep stuff, but would still pull me up the steepest bits I’ve got at 9/10 mph.
It is very user friendly, and the front and back racks will hold a sheep tup, or dog easily .
For stock checking I think I’ll will be great. Easier doing gates etc than on my Honda 230, as you don’t have to find neutral, or turn off.
The brakes are good too.
It was the road version with knobbly tyres that I rode, as I think they only have the road versions to sell for now. I’m not sure when (if ) they will have the black farmer version in.
All in , I thought it was great. Price needless to say will dictate if I get one .
But great job to @UBCO UK for bringing one over to the borders for me to have a go !

Thanks @JP1 let us dig up some details. Our NZ friends are doing some more specific distance testing with a new Vehicle Management System which may well give us more clarity on what is achievable.

Pit Bikes were first made for getting around "pit lanes" hence the name. Are not quite 3/4 size of a motocross bike and generally ridden by youths.

Broken quote (which I can't fix for you any more !!!)
Quiet. Great to approach stock and not get deafened going along country lanes for 25 miles each way

Light. Put it down on it's side when you need to attend stock fast etc . Also if you want to carry it on a trailer / motorcaravan etc etc

Less to go wrong - must be correct compared with oil, injectors etc etc

A belt drive scooter will be much less hassle to maintain compared with a chain that stretches and needs oiling - electric or petrol

Not even belt drive on the UBCO!!

Local Police use a different term for the riders of pit bikes around town....
