Have you tired to do that? you end up with everyone talking over each other then the original organizer getting so annoyed they mute everyone... I'll send out the invite now!
It’s bad enough in our local community council meeting on Zoom.

The last meeting I had our two iPads, one on the meeting and I managed to spend most of it catching up on TFF.

As you can guess the meeting was a bit boring.

I would disagree there. It has engaged with many of the UK public who would not have been aware of this in the past. I think its been a great idea from Jamie and the NFU. And its got coverage and its cheap advertising for UK production.

I have written at length about the failings of the NFU petition.

I have, repeatedly, on that thread invited some of the NFU representatives on here to answer basic questions about the petition, to no avail.

Our national representative body should not be petitioning Government to get 'coverage and cheap advertising', but to put forward proposals that are SMART
Specific
Measurable
Attainable
Relevant
Time-bound.
The NFU petition isn't smart, it is dumb. As said, the other thread explores this in more detail.

There is a Cereals Beer Tent on Wednesday. Not sure how it work, but have offered to be involved so will find out shortly. Guess it's BYO.
For this to work to successfully may I suggest that BASF, Bayer, Syngenta et al could send me a few Crates of something suitable and I’ll drink it in the Virtual beer tent ??

I am thinking a Farming Protest should be organised at a farm based on the new Agriculture bill and the fact that Jamie Oliver and NFU have done a great job getting nearly a million signatures for food standards.

We could also have beer, a band and a ploughing match. Just an idea ;)

@Guy Smith could give a speech! (free beer for speakers)

A bit to close to harvest now, but I would suggest parking a tractor and trailer in the car park of every supermarket in the country. With some sort of banner about how much each pint of milk, a loaf of bread, a block of cheese, etc actually costs to produce.

All very peaceful, but would create great awareness if it was co-ordinated at exactly the same time on exactly the same day.

Breaking no laws.

Supermarkets don't feed people Farmers do.
