Used some of the purple K mag stuff this evening and have used their master manganese for the last few years always seems to mix fine but switched to liquid managanese this year as it’s cheaper

we put it through the induction hopper and it was fine. I think if you pour it straight into the tank you would need to do it very slowly or it will sink to the bottom and sludge up before it dissolves
I'll try that. Last time ended up mixing it in a bucket to be sure it had dissolved and then pouring it in 😳. Only seems to be agrii using stuff like it. My own agronomist wouldn't use it.

I used some last year, it’s not the best at mixing in the induction hopper as just go steady when you first tip it in.

Maintaining grass quality during mid-season grazing is important. Farmers can maintain quality by entering ideal grazing covers of 1,300 – 1,500kg DM/ha, and grazing down to a residual of 4cm every rotation.

If you are now in a situation where cows are not cleaning out paddocks as well as they should be, leading to the development of steamy grass within the sward, here are some options.

Common options for rejuvenating swards include:

  1. Take a silage cut, probably into bales, remove the material and start again with the aftermath...
